LFW Diary ~ Day Six (Menswear Day)

This is how the boys do it London style.

This is a tribute post to the lovely Jen (The Style Crusader)- "Do it like a brother, do it like a dude, grab my crotch, wear my hat, low like you.." for being a uber gem at fash week and taking me and Charlie to see Jessie J.

And also to the fabulous Michael (Anastasia & Duck) for letting me hold his amaze Christopher Kane jelly clutch and allowing me to stand next to him in queues.

The Greatest Show On Earth ~ Meadham Kirchhoff SS12

Powder puff dancing dolls, little fairy dancers, pompom princess platforms and pastel balloons only describe a small part of the incredible Meadham Kirchhoff SS12 show. On the backdrop of the stunning Topshop showspace, back this season at the grand old Eurostar terminal at Waterloo.

Giving a performance like no other, models came out from behind gold tinsel curtains in cutesy, multicolored pastel outfits with laser cut, Swarovski crystal, fine lace and embroidered details, this collection was a spectacular sight to see and there were smiles all round whilst the show unfolded.

The collection itself reminded me of Sophia Coppola’s Marie Antionette crossed with the colourful town in Edward Scissorhands and the child-like costumes you might imagine from a Rald Dahl book, the soundtrack reminiscent of a 80's childhood, this fairy-tale show is everything I loved as a child and has been quite successfully transferred into a true realm of my fashion fantasy.

Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff, are two boys with a huge amount of talent and are sure to go far with this incredible label that I just adore.
Another triumph for British fashion design.
