Vintage Antics in East London

In the new summer campaign for Vitamin Water, titled “Show your Vits” Emma is the new face of REVIVE, the refreshing and fruity morning after hydration drink. The new ads feature ‘real people’ but not only is Emma gorgeous she’s a very talented lady too; being a university lecturer, a singer in an afro-cuban choir, running a club night, and now her latest venture- opening a vintage shop in Hackney called ‘East Of Eden’.

Over breakfast with the lovely ladies- Charlie from Girl a la Mode, Amy from Wolf Whistle, Cyrenea from Freak Deluxe, Charlotte from Style Cartel, Leigh from Style Canteen along with her little boy Jase and also Paul from Exposure PR,

We had some tea and toast in the cafe Nude and planned our day of vintage hunting…

I Wanna Wear Fur

This is really bad; its the height of the most humid summer yet and I keep seeing masses of fur outfits that I want to wear!

Topshop Autumn/Winter Collections

The "Into The Wild" collection allows you to clash and layer your textures - mixing matted faux fur, oversized knits and distressed leathers.

I really wish this heel was a lot thicker but I think the leggings are to die for!

The "Outsiders" collection Mixes classic British heritage fabrics with mossy shades for country girl cool.

The "Dark Nouveau" collection (by far my favourite) is all about embracing your dark side whilst keeping it chic.

Well it is safe to say that Topshop are going to keep me going for the winter with their amazing new collections, not quite sure how I'm going to fund it yet but I will find a way! The drape and lace waistcoat is the first item on my wish list...
What I love about Topshop is that is always feels that one step further than the rest of the high street, I think that as well as recreating the trends from the Catwalk they also inject their own style and always seem to get it so right, as well as the fantastic styling on the campaigns by Kate Phelan.
Dangerous but amazing sale on at the moment-

Lovely fireworks over the castle to finish off the festival.

For me I think seeing Madness was a big highlight, they put on a fabulous show and the atmosphere of the crowd was fantastic.

The setting of Lulworth castle was lovely especially at night when it was all lit up, the food stalls were also really great, we shared some gormet meals including a Byron burger!

All in all a really fab festival, not forgetting to metion the amazing "Posh Wash" showers (heaven) I would recommend anyone to go, so make sure you get your tickets early for next year because this year it sold out!
